Executive Function Coaching
Nicki Dakis
Nicki Dakis has extensive experience in the field of education, holding both an MA and MS degree. She has spent over 20 years teaching middle, high school, and college students and has devoted a significant amount of time to researching and focusing on learning styles and universal teaching methods. Nicki works with students to help them overcome learning impediments to improve their learning experience and boost their self-confidence.

High School Math Boot Camp
Alan Samet
Alan Samet is back to teach High School Math Boot Camp at Study Hall for a third year! Students love Mr. Samet’s relaxed and oftentimes comedic approach to math.
Mr. Samet was a popular Math teacher at Morgan High School for over 30 years! While at Morgan, he was the Math Dept. Chair, J.V. Math Team Advisor and also conducted SAT prep classes. He now serves on the Clinton Board of Education, and continues to reside in Clinton with his family.

Intro to High School Math
Lauren White
Study Hall is thrilled to have Lauren White as our High School Math Boot Camp Teacher.
Lauren brings a passion for mathematics to every lesson. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Roger Williams University and her Master’s Degree in Teaching from the University of Rhode Island. With 8 years of classroom experience teaching middle and high school mathematics, Lauren has developed a deep understanding of how to make math accessible and engaging for students at all levels. Lauren currently teaches Geometry and Geometry Honors at Daniel Hand High School. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive and positive learning environment where every student can thrive!

Elevate SAT
Mateusz Cieslak
Mateusz Cieslak is the mastermind behind Study Hall's "Elevate SAT" program. He boasts over a decade of experience working in commercial banking and finance for NY institutions Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Mateusz has been tutoring the SAT since 2013, leading teams of SAT tutors through the New York Cares SAT Prep Program. By teaching SAT test strategies and skills, Mateusz has helped students increase their scores by an average of 200 points. We are lucky to have Mateusz in charge of Study Hall's "Elevate SAT" program and assisting our students with their SAT preparation.
Mateusz is the Vice Chairman of Madison's Ethics Commission, Board Member at the Country School, and he enjoys volunteering and fundraising for charities. He currently resides in Madison, CT, with his family

SAT Math Boot Camp
Erin LeViness
Study Hall is excited to welcome Erin to our team of educators. A native of Clinton, CT and graduate of Morgan High School, Erin earned her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Connecticut. She currently teaches Algebra I and II at Daniel Hand High School. In her spare time, Erin is working on earning a second Master's degree in Special Education.

Middle School Boot Camps
Bob McGee
Study Hall is thrilled to welcome Bob McGee back for another year of boot camp! Mr. McGee brings high energy and fun to every lesson.
It is no surprise that Mr. McGee was a beloved teacher at The Country School in Madison for over 30 years!
While at The Country School, Mr. McGee not only served as Head of the Middle School, but he designed and ran the outdoor education program (which included one-week adventure hikes to Utah). He lives in Deep River with his family.
